On May 10, a special concert was held to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the Blue House to citizens. The concert was attended by President Yoon Seok-yeol and First Lady Kim Gun-hee, who celebrated the first anniversary of his inauguration. In addition, about 1,000 people, including the bereaved families of national merit and families of firefighters and police officers, were invited to the concert. The concert featured singers such as Forestella and Ailee, Jung Hoon-hee and Song Chang-shik, as well as a fusion Korean music band and a firefighters choir. The performance of the concert was directed and relayed by SBS Broadcasting Station, and it was recorded and broadcast on TV on May 20th.

Marking the 20th Anniversary of its establishment this year, the RCARO hosted the International Symposium on 15 December 2022 in Daejeon, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and other relevant institutes in Korea. More than 250 representatives of governments and related organizations from home and abroad attended the event, including IAEA Secretary-General Rafael Grossi.

Gyeongsangbuk-do held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute's Munmu the Great Science Research Center at the Innovation Nuclear Research Complex in Gampo-eup, Gyeongju-si. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by 300 people, including Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom, North Gyeongsang Governor Lee Chul-woo, Gyeongju Mayor Joo Nak-young, and local residents.

On April 9, 2019, the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI)'s 60th anniversary ceremony was held at the National Science Museum in Daejeon. The event, attended by about 600 people from nuclear power-related organizations, academia, and industry, was held in the order of pre-ceremony performances, opening remarks, congratulatory remarks, progress reports, awards and commemorative videos, vision declaration, and dinner. In particular, at the event on this day, performances incorporating ICT technology, commemorative videos, and declaration of vision were well received by attendees.

The KCON, the world’s biggest K-pop festival made its way to the Middle East for the first time on Friday, March 25. The greatest K-convention and K-concert hosted by CJ E&M, a South Korean entertainment and media contents company was held in United Arab Emirates at Du Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
